SOUNDING IN SILENCE

ASSIGNMENT:
-Create a sound sculpture, installation or media work which suggests sound but actually contains no audible frequencies.
-If creating an installation be sure the work creates a dialogue with the space you’re working with.
PRESENTING THE WORK IN THE FORM OF DOCUMENTATION:
In the event the work is unable to be viewed in person due to logistical issues (a particular space being unavailable during critique time, etc.) GOOD documentation will be acceptable. Please be sure your images, video and/or screen recording are high quality and effectively communicate the work’s intent.
SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER:
Scale = Volume
Material = Texture of Sound
Color = Mood
Length = Duration
Weight = Pitch
