L’Avenir – Live Benefit Concert
GOTHS FOR SANCTUARIES was a benefit concert for animal sanctuaries and rescues around the world. It was broadcast LIVE on Twitch September 24 – 28, 2020. I was honored to be invited to play a 30 min set along many amazing Post-punk and Darkwave bands from around the globe. The festival included performances from Chameleons Vox, The Cassandra Complex, Lycia, Gene Loves Jezebel, Twin Tribes, Sunshine Blind, Mephisto Waltz, The Bellwether Syndicate, Bootblacks and many many more…

L’Avenir is back with Requiem, the fourth full-length album for Barcelona’s Cold Beats Records. Requiem finds L’Avenir visiting themes of alienation, postmodernity, and spiritualism while expanding the sonic palette far beyond his minimal synth beginnings. The music of L’Avenir has often been compared to 4AD-era Clan of Xymox or mid-period Depeche Mode. But while echoes of the former can be heard, L’Avenir brings a uniquely fresh perspective unheard in other bands of the genre.
